Fort Bluff Camp began as the dream of Mike and Naomi Crain. Fresh out of Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga, TN, Mike and Naomi set out on the road, evangelizing through "Judo and Karate for Christ," a ministry Mike started as a way of using his years of martial arts training for the Lord.
In 1973, their travels brought them to Dayton, TN, just 45 minutes north of where their ministry as a couple began. Having realized a burden for camp ministry, Mike and Naomi purchased the Skyline Camp located atop Dayton Mountain, and in 1974, Fort Bluff Camp hosted its very first summer program.
The first summer hosted just under 75 campers. Today, Fort Bluff Camp is host to over 2,000 campers each year. We thank God for His constant blessings and provisions and look forward to what He has in store for us in the next 35 years!
